Silence
But not peaceful
Resentful
Angry
Unspoken thoughts
Words not yelled
Or uttered at all
Loneliness
Nowhere to turn
No one who cares
Pressure
Building and mounting
About to explode
Questioning
My own existence

Robin gave us two possible theme choices: the great outdoors or emotions. My diamante was inspired by end-of-pregnancy/labor/post-birth feelings. (Considering this was written just 17 days before the birth of my first son, I was writing from my personal experience.)
It’s that time of year again -
Time to thoroughly clean within.
From bottom to top and up to down,
I’ll clean with not even the trace of a frown. [ha!]
“Daddy, Daddy! I finished my list! Do you want to see? Do you, do you?” Jason was talking very fast because he was very excited.
“Whoa, Jason! Slow down so I can understand you! What list did you finish?” asked Dad.

Now this is good living;
You see, it’s Thanksgiving.
Our tummies surely will ache!
